Job Summary
Rapid Response Team (RRT) Nurse provides immediate, expert coordination of patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation during RRT calls; documents interventions and outcomes using SBAR; develops and implements clinical practice guidelines for RRT; educates patients, families, and staff; monitors and analyzes RRT data for quality improvement; collaborates with Nurse Manager to recruit/retain staff and supports ethical, professional nursing practice within Georgia RN Act. Night shift full-time role located in Marietta, GA, requiring ICU-level experience and BSN-preferred education, with licensure and certifications per GA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the State of Georgia
- BLS and ACLS required? (see Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s))
- ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional (as applicable)
- NIH Stroke Scale
- National certification in critical care nursing (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in a critical care environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Inter- and intra-departmental coordination of patient care activities
- Delegation skills
- Ability to multi-task in stressful and emergency situations
- Strong detail orientation; Computer skills
- Personal time management
- Compliance with ANA Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of Georgia RN Practice Act
