Job Summary
RN in Radiology Pre/Post and Surgical Services at Mayo Clinic seeks a patient-centered nurse to perform comprehensive nursing assessments, care coordination, and transitional care across inpatient and outpatient radiology procedures. Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family education, leadership through precepting and quality-improvement activities, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Requires RN license, BLS, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; BSN preferred and ACLS/PALS preferred with future requirements. Role supports varied shifts including nights and weekends; TN sponsorship possible with state licensure and VisaScreen if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) valid for 90 days post start date
- ACLS/PALS preferred (ACLS will be required in the future)
- BSN preferred
- Ability to push/pull and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in ICU/PCU/PACU and/or Monitoring/Sedation preferred in last 3-5 years
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends; on-call as needed
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- ACLS/PALS preferred
- Experience in ICU/PCU/PACU and/or Monitoring/Sedation preferred within last 3-5 years
- BLS required (valid 90 days post start)
- RN license from applicable state
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

- Nurse Residency Program for new graduates is available for applicants
