Job Summary
RN – Radiology role providing direct medical-surgical nursing care in a radiology-focused environment. Responsibilities include applying nursing standards to evaluate care, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with interprofessional teams, educating patients and families, and acting as a mentor within the department while ensuring culturally sensitive, ethical, and evidence-based practice. Requires valid Illinois RN license and BLS certification; opportunities for specialties in radiology settings and potential CMSRN/CMSRN-C/OCN/oncology certifications based on department needs. The position operates on day shift with PRN scheduling and a minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program or education equivalency for licensing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS HCP)
- Certification options: CMSRN or CMSRN-C or OCN or ONCC or RN-BC or ANCC or ONC or SCRN or VA-BC (as applicable)
- State of Work Location: Illinois
