Registered Nurse, Radiology - 30hrs

Job Summary
Manage patients throughout the continuum of care before, during, and after imaging procedures using modalities including MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, X-ray, and the Radiology PACU. Conduct patient assessment, procedural care, and recovery from anesthesia. Rotate through chart review, patient phone assessment, and care coordination prior to anxiolysis and anesthesia. Work 30 hours in day/night shifts with occasional remote assessment opportunities and potential rotation to the Needham satellite. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least two years of critical care or radiology experience, a Massachusetts RN license, and preferred pediatric/PALS certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care, Radiology, ED, peri-operative, procedural or Inpatient experience

- Pediatric experience
- PALS certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking
- Superb collaborative skills
- Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication
- Occasional potential to work remote when in the assessment role
- Potential to rotate to the BCH Needham Radiology Satellite
- Working 30 hours, day/night 7:00am-7:30pm, 8:00am-8:30pm, 9:00am-9:30pm/7:00pm-7:30am, every 3rd weekend with an average of 1-2 weeknight call shifts per 6 week schedule
