Job Summary

Conduct clinical assessments, manage patient cases, and develop comprehensive care plans for participants in community and supported-living settings. Deliver direct nursing care focused on wellbeing and safety while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant policies. Provide clinical oversight, facilitate staff training, and manage credentialing to ensure compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework. Ensure participant plans, clinical policies, and procedures remain current to safeguard health and meet provider obligations. Requires tertiary nursing qualification, current AHPRA registration, valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, and at least six months of paid nursing experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unconditional)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (valid clearance)
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Programme — certificate of completion
  • Supporting People to Stay Infection Free module — certificate of completion
  • Right to work in Australia, with passport or equivalent proof of identity
  • Current Western Australian driver's licence and use of a reliable vehicle
  • Two professional, industry-related reference checks
  • Immunisation records in line with current health and role requirements
  • Adherence to the NDIS Code of Conduct and all applicable worker obligations
  • Demonstrated experience working within the NDIS framework
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of six months' paid experience in a nursing position
  • In-depth knowledge of current nursing practice, procedures and evidence-based care
  • Understanding of a range of medical conditions, diseases and treatments relevant to participants with complex support needs
  • Experience assessing needs, writing and reviewing care plans, and maintaining clinical documentation
  • Confident training, supervising and credentialing support staff
  • Sound knowledge of medication management, including intravenous administration, and of high intensity supports
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation, and an understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards

Desired Qualifications

  • Paid experience in community, acute, children's or aged care nursing
