Job Summary
Deliver clinical services, conduct care planning, and review all aspects of clinical care for residents at St Jude's Health Care Group facilities in Bicton and Bristol. Provide safe, evidence-based care while offering leadership, supervision, and coaching to enrolled nurses and assistant staff. Manage challenging behaviors, particularly for residents with dementia, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery. Night shift cover is available.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience working within residential aged care facilities
- An understanding of the needs of consumers who are residing in or transitioning to residential aged care
- Familiar with the applications and particulars of the aged care act and aged care quality standards
- Familiar with managing challenging behaviours, particularly in people who are living with dementia
- A high level of leadership to the facility, including conflict resolution, supervision and striving for continuous improvement
- Work across Bicton & Bristol facilities
- Night shift cover
