Job Summary
Part-time Registered Nurse on A6 West Neurology (36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit) focused on neurology care including stroke management and the exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). Responsible for applying the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver professional nursing care, delegating and teaching patients and families, and supporting care coordination in a specialty unit. Requires BSN or enrollment in BSN with plan to obtain within 5 years, NC RN licensure, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enroll in BSN and obtain BSN within 5 years
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina (eNLC may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year hospital nursing experience preferred
