Registered Nurse - PT - Nights - Neurology

Job Summary
Provides leadership to facilitate delivery of professional nursing care for patients on a Neurology unit (A6 West Neuro Tele/EMU). Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Supports stroke care, epilepsy monitoring, and diverse neuro conditions, including EMU tests and medication adjustments. Requires BSN (or enrolled in BSN with 5-year plan) and current North Carolina RN licensure; BLS; night shift; part-time status. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enroll in BSN program and obtain BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year hospital nursing experience (preferred)
