Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Part-Time Nights in Neurology on A6 West Neurology at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care and teaching. Focused on neurology care, including stroke care and EMU-related testing and monitoring. Eligible candidates will have a BSN or be pursuing one with a 5-year timeline for completion, hold or be eligible for NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), and have BLS certification. Preferred experience includes at least one year of hospital nursing experience. This role supports professional development and may involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN program and obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply
- BLS Healthcare Provider certificate
- One year hospital nursing experience preferred
