Job Summary
Provide patient care in Mercy ER using the nursing process; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; accountable for professional nursing duties in the assigned ER unit; requires RN licensure in the hiring state/compact and Basic Life Support with potential unit-specific certifications (ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM); part-time night shift (24 hours/week); lifting up to 50 pounds; Mercy benefits offered for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Certifications: BLS (with potential for ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM as required by unit)
