Job Summary
Provide nursing care to individuals in a behavioral health/psychiatric unit during night shifts, including patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. De-escalate crises using trauma-informed interventions, document care accurately, and educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans. Requires Indiana RN license and current BLS, with 1 year of nursing experience in psychiatric/behavioral health or crisis stabilization; 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays; full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis stabilization setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
