Registered Nurse-Psych Unit

Plan and coordinate care for a group of patients within your assigned area, directing ancillary personnel for implementation of the patient's plan of care. Perform charge responsibilities as assigned while adhering to the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice. Maintain mastery of basic skills in the assigned psychiatric area. Obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License, with BLS certification required prior to the first clinical shift and CPI certification required within 90 days of hire.
