Registered Nurse Psych Adol

Registered Nurse Psych Adol providing inpatient behavioral health care for adolescents; duties include comprehensive assessments, development and implementation of individualized plans of care, administration and monitoring of medications, ongoing evaluation of clinical/behavioral status, and leading or supporting therapeutic groups focused on coping skills and safety. Maintain suicide/elopement/self-harm precautions and environmental monitoring, respond to behavioral crises with de-escalation and trauma-informed care, advocate for adolescent developmental/psychosocial needs, coordinate with families, schools, and outpatient providers, and document assessments and care coordination in the electronic health record. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary team; participate in unit-based quality improvement and ongoing education to advance psychiatric nursing practice in a collaborative hospital setting.
