Job Summary
Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care unit at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA. Third shift (Nights). The RN performs competent nursing care using the nursing process to address high-acuity patient needs (pain, SOB, fatigue, numbness, sleep issues) and supports families in understanding medical conditions and care options. The role includes transitioning to practice through a Nurse Residency Program with structured orientation, case studies, simulations, and hands-on preceptorship. The organization offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance, along with comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- Education: ADN or BSN in Nursing
- Certification/Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred but not required
