Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU); coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information; evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers; maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients; aligns practice with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS or other unit-specific certifications as required
