Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (Day Shift)

Job Summary
Deliver nursing care on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with high-acuity patients, including cardiac drips, post-op recovery, telemetry, and respiratory support, by implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Act as a patient advocate in a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues; monitor, assess, and respond to real-time patient conditions; collaborate with providers, therapists, pharmacists, and the care team to deliver coordinated care; educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health promotion; accurately document assessments, medications, and interventions in the EHR. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- RN Indiana License
- CPR certification on hire or within 60 days
