Job Summary
Registered Professional Nurse responsible for the management of patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes. Directs and guides the delivery of nursing care, patient education, and related activities, while collaborating with other disciplines to maintain professional nursing standards. Includes NY RN licensure, BLS/ACLS requirements, cardiac rhythm and stepdown education, and a focus on safe patient handling and patient ratios. Relocation and signing incentives are offered to join the team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York
- BLS or ACLS required with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Completion of cardiac rhythm course within 3-6 months
- Completion of stepdown education course within 6-12 months
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
