Registered Nurse, Progressive Care

Accurately perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for diverse populations in the Progressive Care Unit. Provide care matching patient conditions and age, perform timely documentation relating to medical necessity, and complete or revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Conduct QI assessments and leverage specialized plan-of-care interventions to shape exceptional patient journeys using cutting-edge technology. Schedule: 3 x 12 shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months of hire. This role supports a 263-bed facility serving as a primary stroke center and open-heart surgery site within Lifepoint Health's network.
