Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Progressive Care Unit providing direct comprehensive nursing care from patient admission to discharge. Responsibilities include documenting care and outcomes, prioritizing care based on changing assessments, and ongoing communication with physicians and other hospital departments. Requires ADN, Kentucky RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS within specified timelines, and Crisis Prevention training within 6 months. Full-time night shift (7p-7a).
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- NIHSS required within 6 months of hire
- Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire
