Job Summary
Execute complex medical orders and treatment strategies as a high-level partner to physicians in the Progressive Care Unit. Serve as the central communication hub for the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless collaboration and holistic care delivery. Proactively track patient health trends and document progress to enable timely interventions, while leading comprehensive discharge planning and transition education for patients and families. Requires Tennessee RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification within 6 months. Full-time nights shift at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
