Registered Nurse - Program Specialist - Vascular Access

Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and establish the need for mid-to-long term vascular access devices for assigned patients. Perform intravenous insertion and assessment for peripheral and central lines, utilizing point-of-care ultrasound and infusion pumps as appropriate. Collaborate with interprofessional teams to resolve patient concerns and individualize care plans regarding vascular access. Monitor and record patient conditions, interpreting department policies and lab results to manage unanticipated changes. Utilize the Electronic Health Record to access treatment plans while adhering to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Two years' registered nurse experience
