Job Summary
Neurosurgery OR RN Clinical Coordinator responsible for supervising and coordinating personnel delivering patient-focused care in the operating room, leading staffing decisions, mentoring staff, and supporting physician practices through integrated nursing services. Acts as a leadership resource, participates in performance improvement, recruitment/selection, and greater operational performance to improve patient outcomes and financial performance, while ensuring policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are followed. Requires strong clinical RN skills in a Level II trauma center environment, with emphasis on collaboration with neurosurgery teams, physicians, and OR staff. Must demonstrate organization, calmness under pressure, and a commitment to patient-centered care; able to supervise, train, and develop personnel and manage related leadership activities within the department.
Required Qualifications
- ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain BSN within four years of hire unless minimum 15 years RN experience in acute care
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service
- Minimum of three (3) years of RN experience
