Registered Nurse

Provide direct patient care including assessments, vital signs, and health histories. Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations; perform venipuncture, IV starts, and specimen collection. Assist healthcare providers with exams, respond to medical emergencies, and monitor patient conditions to implement appropriate nursing interventions. Develop and update care plans while documenting accurately in the electronic medical record system. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and correctional healthcare standards, ensuring infection control and proper equipment handling. Requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and ability to pass federal background screening. Rotating shifts include 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM options at the Federal Medical Center Carswell facility.
