Registered Nurse, PRN

Registered Nurse (PRN) provides professional nursing care including assessment, treatment planning, and medical care evaluation following established standards. Serves as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians; obtains consent, health history, and documents vital signs and treatment progress. Administers prescribed medications, delegates as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act, and educates patients and families on health status and disease management. Works with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes, maintains patient confidentiality, and contributes to quality assurance and documentation in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting at Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN.
