Job Summary
Registered Nurse PRN Tier 1 – Labor & Delivery role at Methodist Health System. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintaining safe and therapeutic environment; accurate and timely documentation; safe medication and IV administration; effective communication with patients, families, and staff; and ongoing professional growth. Requires RN who is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, active Texas license or eligibility, and BLS certification with at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience. Located in Dallas, TX, within a full-service teaching hospital with a recognized history of excellence and Magnet designation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year L&D RN experience
