Registered Nurse PRN - School Based (K-12)

Provide school-based nursing services as a PRN RN in Westfield, IN. Responsibilities include reviewing student medical history and performing nursing assessments to evaluate impact on health, safety, and readiness to learn; gathering health information, orders, and emergency action plans; collaborating with parents, providers, and school staff to identify nursing diagnoses, goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes; creating individual health care plans; delivering in-class health support, training staff, and ensuring FERPA-compliant privacy; following Indiana nursing practice acts, school nurse delegation guidelines, and immunization laws; maintaining immunization records; assessing and documenting patient conditions per nursing policies; upholding infection control protocols; performing QA functions to meet regulatory requirements; maintaining a stocked clinic; participating in health screenings as needed; identifying abnormal findings and initiating referrals; providing ongoing health counseling and education in clinic and classroom settings; and performing other duties as assigned.
