Job Summary
Conduct coordinated medical and clinical nursing care for patients, performing initial intake assessments, administering medications, and managing IV access, nasogastric tubes, and enteral feeding. Perform wound care, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point-of-care testing while documenting all direct patient care in the electronic medical record. Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and behavioral health technicians, responding to emergency situations until EMS arrives. Partner with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and participate in regular team meetings regarding patient progress. Work onsite at the Eating Recovery Center residential facility in Bellevue, WA, on PRN overnight shifts (6:00pm–6:30am) with a rotation of scheduled and on-call shifts. Maintain an active WA RN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse License in state position
- Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Active WA RN license
- PRN (as-needed) overnight shift, 6:00pm-6:30am
- 2 scheduled shifts and 2 on-call shifts required per month
- Working onsite at Eating Recovery Center's residential facility in Bellevue, WA
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year+ working with patients in the mental health field
