Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients at LaPorte Juvenile Correctional Facility under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Nursing Supervisor. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs. Maintain an Associate's degree and hold a Registered Nurse license, with active CPR certification required. Obtain necessary security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check. Available for PRN Nights or PRN Days shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
