Registered Nurse - PRN - Nights - Acute Care

Provide leadership to facilitate professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being on the Progressive Care unit. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Implement medically prescribed interventions for step-down, med-surg, and swing patients in a 30-bed facility serving long-term and chronically ill individuals. Maintain current licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and hold a BLS Healthcare Provider certificate. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years.
