Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing all duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. Obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state or compact licensure area. Complete required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ALS, or unit-specific modules within the department-required timeframe. The position requires the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and physical exertion including gripping, reaching, bending, and squatting.
