Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in the Main Operating Room (OR) as a PRN position. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and upholding Mercy Service Standards. Requires graduation from an accredited registered nursing program and an RN license (state-specific and/or compact licensure). Certification requirements may include BLS and additional unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others as specified by the unit. Physical demands include pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and various movements to perform duties. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- May require ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS or other unit-specific certifications as required
