Job Summary
Respond to clinical referral information with care, assessing client eligibility for specialized hospice services and guiding patients and families through their end-of-life journey. Deliver hands-on nursing care rooted in clinical principles to ensure comfort and quality of life, while educating families to empower their active participation in personalized care plans. Partner with the Clinical Director to coordinate services and share responsibility for on-call or after-hours duties as needed. This role supports Legacy Hospice's mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care in the Fredericksburg area.
Required Qualifications
- Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting
- Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification if required by state
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation
