Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in Inpatient Rehab at Wellstar. The role involves applying the Nursing Process to provide individualized, high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care, and supporting performance improvement. The nurse adheres to established standards, participates in interdisciplinary rounds, acts as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses, utilizes evidence-based practice, and maintains required licenses and certifications (ACLS/BLS, RN, Compact where applicable). The position requires strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and time management skills, with a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing Required
- Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 1 year relevant, recent, acute care clinical nursing experience.
