Job Summary
Conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide nursing and behavioral health support for individuals staying in the 24-hour Crisis Treatment Center while working with the crisis team to maintain a therapeutic environment and ensure safety. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills for clinical documentation and interactions with clients, staff, and community providers. Perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs while managing prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and keyboarding. Requires current Texas RN licensure, CPR and P certification, and a valid driver's license. Schedule is as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written communication and computer skills for inputting clinical documentation
- Excellent verbal communication with clients, staff, and community providers
- Time management and organizational skills
- Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be CPR and P certified
- Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation
- Current and unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program

- 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
