Job Summary
Develop comprehensive nursing plans of care for geriatric psychiatric patients through psychosocial and physiologic assessments, while integrating cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs. Implement, reassess, and revise these plans based on physician orders and trends, actively supporting nursing regulations, Franciscan Alliance processes, and patient education throughout the continuum. Provide total comprehensive nursing care to patients and families on a PRN basis with alternating shifts from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., starting at $34/hour. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing, state RN licensure, and BLS certification. Travel is required for this role within the Franciscan Health system.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
- Alternating shifts 6a-6:30pm and 6p-6:30am
