Registered Nurse - PRN Float Pool Day - $60/HR!!

Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients by contacting practitioners for orders, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and providing emergency first aid. Check and record vital signs, peak flows, blood glucose checks, and other diagnostic tests; triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call. Collect and record data for statistical reporting, document care information concisely in appropriate forms, and report reactions to treatments or changes in patient condition. Provide patient education on correctional facility policies and discharge planning, maintain aseptic techniques, and collaborate on medical services as directed. Notify supervisor of medical or security incidents, participate in in-service education, and may be directed to cover shifts at multiple correctional facilities or act as a back-up to the Site Manager.
