Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) PRN provides coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to meet the needs of each assigned patient within the ERC Pathlight system. They partner with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and a consistently therapeutic milieu for all patients. As a leader of the health care team, the RN delivers professional nursing care with sound clinical judgment in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures. May be required to work on-call shifts based on business needs in accordance with applicable laws. Essential duties include performing a full range of nursing services (assessment, care planning, administering treatment, evaluating patient response), initial intake assessment and discharge education, placing/receiving orders, administering medications, phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, nasogastric tube placement and enteral feeding, intravenous access and fluids, wound care, documentation in EMR, supervising licensed staff, coordinating care with the treatment team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, and training/mentoring new nursing teammates. Responds to emergencies until EMS/911 arrive. Must-haves: Active RN license in state, Basic Life Support, effective communication, ability to stay calm under pressure, and ability to protect patient confidentiality. Required Qualifications
