Job Summary
Provide emergency care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Collaborate closely with the Therapy department to coordinate care and facilitate patient return to pre-hospitalization lifestyles. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain ACLS and BLS certifications during orientation. Work rotating shifts with flexible scheduling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds while standing and walking for the duration of each shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least six months of experience as an LPN or RN
