Job Summary
Provide coordinated emergency care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly while maintaining prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts. Collaborate closely with the Therapy department to facilitate patient return to pre-hospitalization lifestyles. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain ACLS and BLS certifications during orientation. Work flexible, rotating hours as a PRN nurse, with at least six months of LPN or RN experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least six months of experience as an LPN or RN
