Job Summary
Provide coordinated, excellent care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients at Mercy Hospital Logan County's 25-bed Critical Access facility. Work within a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, collaborating closely with the Therapy department to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain ACLS and BLS certifications during orientation. Rotate through flexible shifts with prolonged standing, walking, and lifting duties up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least six months of experience as an LPN or RN
