Job Summary
PRN Registered Nurse needed at Endoscopy Center of El Paso. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during procedures, providing care in recovery, monitoring sedation, maintaining accurate records, communicating with staff, ensuring patient safety, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and participating in continuing education. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license in the state, and have BLS (and ACLS recommended). Flexible schedule Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; open to Spanish-speaking candidates. Endoscopy-focused duties include conscious sedation monitoring, IV procedures, post-procedure care, and assisting with endoscopy logbook and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state license to practice as Registered Nurse
- Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- ACLS certification and re-certification recommended but optional
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish
