Job Summary
Provide one-on-one in-home nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the patient’s own home. Implement the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating based on scope of practice; communicate with physician and multidisciplinary care team; perform cares ranging from tracheostomy and ventilators to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. 8-12 hour shifts typical; MN RN license required; BLS CPR certification; English fluency; ability to lift up to 50lbs. Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association or Red Cross (renewed at recommended frequencies)
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Experience/education in the scope of services offered by the agency
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.
