Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (RN) needed to provide adult and pediatric nursing care in patients' homes. Responsibilities include implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating), communicating with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team regarding patient health status, and delivering a range of cares from tracheostomy and ventilator care to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. Required skills include a Minnesota RN license, fluency in English, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Typical shifts are 8–12 hours, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits such as health insurance reimbursement, 401k, CEU opportunities, PTO, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Education and experience in the scope of services offered by the agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through AHA or Red Cross (renewed at recommended frequencies)
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs
