Job Summary
Provide one-on-one in-home nursing care for adult and pediatric patients as a Private Duty RN. Implement the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating), coordinate with the physician and multidisciplinary team, and deliver care ranging from tracheostomy/ventilators to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. Must hold a Minnesota RN license, communicate in English, complete BLS CPR, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Typical shifts are 8–12 hours. Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Education and experience in the scope of services offered by the agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR course through American Heart Association or Red Cross renewed as required
