Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (RN) needed to provide one-on-one home nursing care for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), communicating with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team, and delivering broad in-home care such as tracheostomy/ventilator care, feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. Requires MN RN license, English fluency, BLS CPR, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts are typically 8-12 hours with flexible scheduling. Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Education and experience in the scope of services offered by the agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through AHA or Red Cross renewed at recommended frequencies
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs
