Job Summary
Monitor treatment services to prevent inappropriate use of resources and advise supervisors on operational efficiency improvements. Provide comprehensive treatment care to inmates and patients, conducting daily assessments, vital signs, and provisional diagnoses for minor illnesses per protocol. Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and sharps while delivering health counseling and implementing care plans to restore well-being. Coordinate monthly health care staff meetings and document symptoms, reactions, and progress for nursing care formulation. This fast-paced role requires a Pennsylvania-licensed RN with strong clinical decision-making skills to function independently in the Lawrence County Correctional Facility medical department.
