Job Summary
Critical Care Transport Nurse position within Premier Ambulance's CCT Program in Southern California. Responsible for providing Basic and Advanced Life Support during high-risk transport alongside EMTs, monitoring cardiac/respiratory status, administering IV medications, and managing ventilators. Requires minimum two years of recent critical care nursing experience (pediatric or adult) and California RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days. Role emphasizes patient advocacy, adherence to protocols, effective communication with the CCT Manager, and ability to work independently or as part of a team across transport settings. Required Qualifications
- California State Registered Nurse (unrestricted licensure)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (Within 90 days of hire)
- Minimum two years nursing experience in critical care area relevant to SCT transports (pediatric vs. adult) within the previous 24 months
- ER or ICU experience in a large tertiary care facility with high acuity patients
