Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse with responsibilities in high-acuity invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, including pre/post procedure care, groin sheath management, sedation recovery, and patient documentation. Performs sheath pulls, manages femoral and radial access, and contributes to discharge planning while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires knowledge of sedation/general anesthesia recovery, TEE and DCCV support, NSTEMI/STEMI patient care, and adherence to Banner Health standards. Provides nursing care per policy, participates in unit leadership, and supports professional development and quality outcomes. BSN preferred; Magnet facility with ongoing clinical ladder opportunities; requires current RN licensure and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired.
- BSN program completion or higher; bachelor's degree preferred.
