Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Op at Grandview Urology Surgery Center providing patient-centered perioperative care across multiple RN specialties (clinical roles including OR, PACU, NICU, telemetry, dialysis, cath lab) with strong adherence to nursing processes, documentation, medication administration, infection control, and collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities cover patient assessments, planning and implementing care, ensuring safety and education, assisting with procedures, monitoring devices/equipment, responding to emergencies, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Roles span various units (Critical Care, OR Services, Oncology, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Obstetrics, PACU, NICU, Telemetry, Dialysis, Cath Lab) with competencies in ventilators, IV pumps, central lines, airway management, post-operative care, pain management, and family education. Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required; BCLS is required and ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
