Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op, Part-Time at Grandview Orthopedic Surgery Center delivers patient-centered perioperative care across pre-op and surgical-care continuum. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting physicians during procedures, documenting care, ensuring infection-control standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans. Requires active RN licensure, BCLS certification, and 0-2 years of acute care experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Emphasis on patient safety, proper documentation, and preparing patients for surgery and post-operative care.
Required Qualifications
- RN - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
